About Us
FedWealth exists because the single best retirement deal in America — the TSP with a government match — is handed to millions of service members and federal employees, and most of them are never shown what it's actually worth.
Finance content is either written for tech workers with stock options, buried in 40-page benefits PDFs, or trying to sell you whole life insurance in a strip mall outside the gate. Meanwhile the decisions that matter most get made quietly in MyPay or on your onboarding paperwork, in about ninety seconds, and then never looked at again for a decade.
So we built the tool we wish someone had put in front of us: put in your real pay — whether that's a pay grade and years of service or a GS salary — your real state, your real contribution, and see your real numbers. What you save in taxes this year. What the match adds. Which of Roth or Traditional actually wins at your income. What it all becomes by 60.
It doesn't matter if you're three years into your first enlistment or twenty-eight years into a civil service career working on your second pension. The math works the same. It just works harder the sooner you look at it.
What we believe
- ✓Show the math. Every number traces to the 2026 tax code, published pay tables, and each state's actual rules — sources cited, assumptions listed.
- ✓Time beats income. Someone who starts at 20 with a small paycheck finishes ahead of someone who starts at 35 with a big one. That's the entire pitch.
- ✓No upsell. No accounts, no ads, no affiliate links, no data harvesting. Tools and straight answers.
What this isn't
Tax or investment advice. FedWealth is an educational tool built on published data. It doesn't know your full situation — a deployment, a working spouse, or a state quirk can change the answer. For big decisions, talk to a fee-only advisor or your agency's free financial counseling (military installations have Personal Financial Counselors; yes, it's a real thing, and yes, it's actually free).
FedWealth is not affiliated with tsp.gov, the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, or any government agency.
